Cemetary Walk. To celebrate the anniversary of Baden-Powell's visit to Toowoomba. Everyone is welcome to come along to the Drayton Cemetery to pay our respects to past Scouts that n called to higher service. Be there at 9:45am for a 10:00am start. Bring hat and water bottle and please wear your uniform. A sausage sizzle will conclude the event at the Glenvale Scout den.

25 April - Wednesday

Anzac Day. 2nd Toowoomba traditionally marches in the early morning in Drayton and those who wish, may then march in the city in the big parade. You must wear full uniform - clean, ironed and everything on.

27 April - Friday

Time to start practicing construction for Standards Camp.

2 May - Wednesday

Troop Council. 6:30pm at the Den. All PL's and APL's need to attend.

4 May - Friday

Construction and camp site set up.

11 May - Friday

Construction. Practice makes perfect!

18 May - Friday

Due to the AGM being held in our Den we will be having an offsite activity. This will be navigation badge work.

19 May - Saturday

Regional Abseiling Day. To be held at tWithcott cliffs. $15 for the day. BYO sunscreen, water, mornng and afternoon teas and lunch.

20 May - Sunday

Standards Camp cooking paractice. All those participating in Standards Camp are required for this day.

25 May - Friday

We are travelling to Standards Camp. If you are not participating in this camp then there will be no Scouts.

25, 26 & 27 May - Weekend

Standards Camp! A regional camping/cooking camp to test the skills of Scouts.

1 June - Friday

2 June - Saturday

Opportunity for Jamboree fundraising. If your Scout is going to Jamboree then your help would be very much appreciated at Woolworth's on this day. Any money raised will be split between those parents/Scouts in attendance for Jamboree.

Final night of Term Two. Lots of fun, games and food. Please brg a plate of something to share. We do have nut allergy concerns in our Troop so please do not send anything containing nuts.

29 & 30 June, 1 & 2 July - Long weekend

Triple S! A Patrol based standards camp run at BP Park for Scouts. If any Patrol Leader is interested in organising a Patrol to go, come and see me.
