The Darling Downs Region is having a afternoon of trivia on the 17th of November to test out those brains of your while doing some fundraising for the Region and having lots of fun while your at it. This is sure to be a fun filled afternoon with lucky door prizes and prizes for the team that has the highest score when the smoke clears. The 2nd Toowoomba Scout Group has scored it self a BBQ fundraiser at the Masters store on Hume street on the 28th of September 2013 so please come along and support us in our fundraising BBQ if you are a master at the BBQ we could use your help on the tongs or if you are just after an amazing snag for a bit of lunch or just a snack you are more then welcome to come and join in the fun. see you there 

Its Carnival time again boys and girls, which means its time to celebrate that spring is here and that the flowers are out flowering. It also means lots of work to get Toowoomba ready for the Carnival of Flowers Parade, this year 2nd Toowoomba Group is doing the Seating for the Parade that starts at 3pm this year. If you are able to help with this fundraising event please contact the Group Leader.

Earlier in the year 2nd Toowoomba Group, Committee and Scouting parents had a fundraiser at Bunnings on Anzac Ave in Toowoomba. It was a good day and we did very well in selling our snags to the public and the Bunnings Team who i wonder if they all forget there lunches on the days that groups have BBQs there as i don't think there where many that did not come buy one and join in for a joke and a laugh.

In July 2nd Toowoomba Scout Group held a Christmas in July at Regency on the Lake as a fundraising event for the group. it was one hell of a night with fun and games and great music from the DJ. The food was cooked to perfection and the drinks where plentiful. Pics to come
