Welcome back to Term Three.
We have lots of exciting things happening this Term, Please keep an eye on the "NEW" Term Calendar issued the first week back.
Hi to all prospective members who may be visiting our site. Just to advise you that we are currently bursting at the seams with Cub Scouts & won't be taking on any new members this year.
Like Fido here, we would love to BUT we just can't fit any more in.
However, all is not lost, as there are many other wonderful Scout groups in the area that still have room for a few more members.
If you click on Fido he will take you to a listing of other great Scout Groups in the area.
On the 21st of August at Wirraglen Scout Camp in Highfields, Mang & Darzee (Our Region Commissioner & Region Leader for Cub Scouts) are hosting the Annual Cub Scout Challenge.
Last year 2nd Toowoomba Cubs did us proud & won the trophy, let's all "Do Our Best" again this year.

28th & 29th August is our winter Astronomy Camp at Maidenwell. We will be attending two shows at the Maidenwell observatory with activities towards the Space achievement badge. We do need at least 15 Cubs to sign up for this one to make it viable to run - Note below please return early if possible.
This week we will be doing some activities based on the symbols that define our great nation. We will also be making something for Fathers day so bring your best "CAN DO" attitiude.
We will be travelling out to Highfields in the bus to enjoy an evening of entertainment at the annual Darling Downs Scout Revue. Be prepared for a night of talent & fun as the kids from the revue cast bring you a huge night of entertainment. A permission slip is required and will be issued shortly.
Join our band of ragged pirates for a dressup night of fun & celebration. Our last Pirate night was so much fun, the whole group are getting in on this one. Get your costume ready now and start practicing those ARRRRR's! Night will include an end of term Pirate Pizza Party!!!!
As usual we will be marching proudly in the annual "Carnival of Flowers" Parade. Look for a note with details closer to the date
